Privacy policy

How we process personal data on the Caufix marketing website (caufix.com).

This notice covers caufix.com only—the pages where we present Caufix, pricing, downloads, and the try/demo funnel. It does not replace the privacy information, terms, or module-specific notices shown inside a Caufix instance after you purchase or subscribe. Those documents depend on your plan, enabled modules, and product version and are presented in the product or in your offer acceptance flow.

Controller under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): Imatronix UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Matternstraße 3, 10249 Berlin, Germany. For privacy requests about this website, email contact@imatronix.de with the subject line “Privacy”. This page is available in English, German, and Spanish; the controller and processing described here apply regardless of language.

When you browse this site, our hosting infrastructure processes technical data such as IP address, date and time, requested URL, HTTP status, and browser or device information in server logs. Purpose: deliver the site, maintain security, and troubleshoot errors. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests). Logs are kept only as long as needed for those purposes and applicable law.

We store your light or dark theme preference in your browser (local storage) so the layout stays consistent. Purpose: display preference. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. You can clear this by removing site data for caufix.com in your browser.

On the try/demo funnel (/try), we ask for your name, email, phone number, store count, and business category. We use this information to prepare a sandbox, schedule a demo, and follow up on your enquiry. Data is sent to our CRM (Zoho) via our backend. Legal bases can include Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to a contract at your request) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (handling commercial enquiries). We retain lead data according to our CRM practices and any agreement you enter with us.

Where configured, we use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel on this site to measure page views and conversion events (for example when you complete the try funnel). Meta may receive technical identifiers and event data according to Meta’s policies. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR where permitted, or consent where required by local ePrivacy rules. You can limit ad tracking in your browser or device settings and through Meta’s opt-out tools.

Recipients and subprocessors for this marketing site may include our hosting provider (Contabo, EU region), Zoho (CRM), and Meta (analytics pixel when enabled), each under their own terms and, where we engage them as processors, appropriate Art. 28 GDPR agreements. International transfers, if any, are safeguarded as required by GDPR.

Depending on your situation you may have rights under the GDPR (for example access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability) and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Imatronix UG has not appointed a Data Protection Officer; under Art. 37 GDPR a DPO is mandatory only in specific circumstances. We handle data subject requests ourselves—please use contact@imatronix.de.
