Changelog

A clear look at what we shipped — written for the people who use Caufix every day.

  1. Version 6.54.2

Optional Supplier Tax ID & Fractional Order Quantities

This release makes supplier tax ID optional and improves how quantities are entered when creating orders on mobile.

    • Improved

Supplier tax ID no longer required

You can now create or edit suppliers without entering a tax ID. Suppliers without one will show a placeholder wherever the tax ID would normally appear.

    • SCRUM-26Improved

Enter fractional quantities on mobile orders

The quantity dialog on mobile order creation now accepts values below 1 (like 0.5), and setting a quantity to 0 removes the item from the order.

  2. Version 6.49.0

Caufix mobile improvements and a refreshed website

This release makes closing orders easier on phones, adds a handy option to jump straight into an order after a sale, cleans up settings page headers, and refreshes the Caufix website with new branding.

    • Improved

      Easier order completion on mobile

The order-detail alert and the complete-order screen now work better on phones, so cashiers can set payment method and document type without fighting a cramped layout.

    • New

Option to open the order right after a sale

A new store setting lets cashiers automatically land on the completed order instead of a new sale screen once a sale finishes.

    • Improved

      Consistent settings page headers

Settings pages now share the same top bar, title, and back button style as the rest of the app for a more consistent look.

    • SCRUM-25Fixed

Fewer false update warnings on Android devices

The app no longer warns about an outdated server when a device is just reporting a placeholder version number, avoiding confusing false alarms.

    • New

      New Caufix website look

The Caufix website now uses the official brand colors and header design, plus a corrected Linux logo and a new mobile menu for easier browsing on phones.

  3. Version 6.48.0

Easier stock intake on mobile, ticket tracking with Jira, and a public changelog

This release makes stock intake usable from a phone, fixes POS version checks and printer settings scrolling in Caufix, and adds ticket management with Jira linking plus a public changelog to Core.

    • SCRUM-5New

Stock intake now works well on mobile

You can start a new stock intake from scratch or import an invoice, and items now show as easy-to-tap cards on phones instead of a cramped table, with add and save buttons always within reach.

    • SCRUM-25Fixed

More accurate warnings about outdated or newer POS versions

The system now checks the actual app version on mobile devices so up-to-date stores are not flagged as outdated, and shows a separate notice if the point of sale is newer than your instance.

    • SCRUM-24Fixed

Printer settings page scrolls correctly again

Fixed an issue where the printer list on the settings page could get stuck and not scroll.

    • SCRUM-22New

New public changelog for release updates

Customers can now browse a changelog page showing what's new in each release, and your team can review and manage these updates from Core.

  4. Version 6.48.0

Android printers, VAT prices, and company archive

Caufix on Android can talk to USB and Bluetooth thermal printers, cashiers can type prices with or without VAT, and companies in Core are archived instead of deleted.

    • SCRUM-1New

USB and Bluetooth thermal printers on Android

Pair a USB or Bluetooth receipt printer from the Android POS and print without extra desktop software.

    • SCRUM-2New

Enter prices with or without VAT

Product prices can be typed net or gross; Caufix converts them using the product tax rate.

    • Fixed

      Android 16 for Google Play

The Android app now targets API 36 so new Play Store uploads stay compliant.

  5. Version 6.47.0

Quotes, customer groups, and shift close

Caufix gains quotations, customer-group pricing, a shift close instead of a single daily close, an inventory valuation report, and Android builds go to Play production. Core can draw store floor plans and bills contracts from the billing start date.

    • SCRUM-13New

      Quotations

Prepare a quote in Caufix before turning it into an order.

    • New

Customer groups with discounts and product prices

Assign customers to groups, apply a group discount at checkout, and override prices on specific products.

    • New

Shift close from a custom time

The old daily close is now a shift close, and you can close from a datetime you choose.

    • New

      Inventory valuation report

See stock at cost and sale value, plus a daily snapshot.

    • Improved

      Faster mobile checkout

Type quantity on the mobile order list and filter products by family chips.

    • Improved

      Android builds on Play production

CI publishes the Android app to the Play production track.

  6. Version 6.46.0

SuperFactura sync, WhatsApp QR, and installation checklist

Chile tax IDs and SuperFactura credentials stay in sync from Core, sales can open WhatsApp from a QR on the lead, and the company installation checklist is grouped around company, contract, and SuperFactura.

    • New

      SuperFactura credentials from Core

Caufix picks up SuperFactura settings from the Core company so POS invoicing stays aligned.

    • New

Share an order PDF without a signed DTE

When there is no signed tax document yet, Caufix can still share a generated order PDF.

  7. Version 6.45.0

Switch store from the login screen

Cashiers can connect Caufix to another store without leaving the login screen.

    • New

Connect to another store at login

Pick a different store when signing in, so one device can move between locations.

  8. Version 6.44.0

QR connect, bank accounts, and a calmer mobile UI

Mobile POS can join an instance by scanning a QR, companies can keep several bank accounts, and Core plus Caufix get a tighter mobile header. Controlling shows Global66 balance, and CRM tracks lead conversion with retries.

    • New

Connect mobile POS with an instance QR

Scan the instance QR to point the Android app at the right backend.

    • Improved

      Cleaner mobile chrome

Compact title bar instead of breadcrumbs, popover pickers for tabs, and Android edge-to-edge with safer Capacitor margins.

  9. Version 6.43.0

    Google address autocomplete

Core address fields can be filled from Google Places, and Caufix keeps the company tax ID when stores sync to POS instances.

    • Fixed

Keep company tax ID on store sync

Syncing stores to POS instances no longer blanks the company tax ID.

  10. Version 6.42.0

Email preferences, public SII form, and product import

People can manage email notifications from a public link, companies can complete SII registration on a public form, Caufix can import products from a mapped spreadsheet, and a closed lead can create the user, org, and company.

    • New

      Mapped spreadsheet product import

Map columns once and import the catalog from a spreadsheet.

    • New

Android APK on the downloads page

The public Caufix site lists the Android APK next to desktop builds.

    • Improved

Manual backend URL when the instance is down

On login, type the backend URL if the usual instance cannot be reached.
